Yes, a little. It's really not that bad but you know for sure you are balding. It is progressive although unpredictable, no one knows how quick it can move on.

My advice: start on Finasteride only. If after one year you are not happy you can add Minoxidil but I don't think it will be necessary, for now.

I compared these pictures to ones from 5 years ago and it looks the same always thin in that area when longer can't tell I'm wondering if its just a swirl or whatever they are called haha maybe denial my wife doesn't think it has changed much if any from pics when I'm 21 ... Have a few white
hairs come up latly to but have had a stressful year as well if that matters

- - - Updated - - -

That is also the shortest
blade height on shaver without going right down with just blade

- - - Updated - - -

CCould it not just natural be like that and not
be thinning ?

My hair grows very fast as well

Are you sure its the same as 5 years ago? It may be worth sharing the pictures online for a more objective eye.

Looks like classic male pattern baldness. In fact, I lost my hair in exactly the same pattern. Stress will not have made any difference to your hair.

The good news is that your hair still looks decent, although if you leave it for a couple of years you may regret it. I would research finasteride

There's no way for any of us to know for sure just by looking at a few pictures. I'm on the fence about whether or not it's balding because the crown is usually the thinnest area even for children, but it's too tough to tell. Could be the camera flash, the angle of the head tilt, the lighting in the room, etc. All of those things can exacerbate the look of balding. If your hair was longer, it might be easier to tell if there's a gaping hole in the back of your head. Unfortunately, none of us can know for sure. I wouldn't be wise to jump directly on treatment without consulting a specialist first, and no we on here -- as much as some would like to think they are -- are NOT specialists. Good luck

It's really not that bad just some thinning in the crown, if you're worried or if it's getting worse jump on finasteride and you're good for at least 5-10 years+. Hopefully by then they'll finally have something figured out...

u don't think you need anything? I guess not if you don't care about your hair. But you are going to be completely bald in a few years probably. I would start soon

I personally think your hair looks a fair bit worse in newer pictures. The hairline has stayed put but the hair looks more diffuse. Many of us here have balded in the same way and it's really sneaky, I was in denial for a long time.

Just keep informed of your options and keep documenting pictures of your hair in the same conditions. Your hair may stay like it is, but it's unlikely imo.

My dad started losing hair on vertex at 25, his 53 now and although his scalp has thinned a little his hairline and scalp still have sufficient amount off hair. I'd wait 6 months if I were you and take pictures every week to review your hair.
