Ok, I usually dismissed this sort of thing, but now I can't stop thinking about it. I don't care what anyone says, men are going bald younger. What I do not expect is all the 21-22 year old full on NW6/7 that I'm seeing these days. That did not exist when I was that age. When I did see it, it was on that very rare man who has matured more for his age, usually he was larger, full beard, deeper voice.
So whats different between now and 15-20 years ago? We smoke and drink less, hard drugs are less common place, environmental pollutants and food safety is more regulated, and people are generally more health conscious. Hell, we even have access to finasteride and a wealth of information about male pattern baldness is only a click a way. Concealers were invented, and hair transplants are no longer a joke. Despite all this, men are still balding younger.
You know has changed? Internet p**rn. I had a shared family computer in the kitchen on a dial up connection until I went to university dorms at 19 years old. And despite having the balding gene, I still have a slightly diffuse NW2.5 at 35 years old. I bet if I was watching p**rn since 12 years old, I'd be chrome bald at 26.
Has anyone else thought of this?
