Does anybody else get the impression that more masculine men tend to thin at the crown first, and less masculine men, with a less dominant bone structure, tend to thin at the hairline first?

Might only be the case with Caucasians.

R u calling me feminine ? Why don't u say that to my face and see what happens.

Joking aside, i started thinning at the crown and temples and the same time. Not much receding, but a lot of thinning. I'm caucasian and i wouldnt say i have a strong facial bone structure.

My thinning is most drastic in the crown and I am masculine as f*ck... so there, point proven. :p

Bieber is slightly thinning in the crown and he would tell you Prince William did as well so I don't know if what you say is true.

One or two or fifteen exceptions are irrelevant.
Honestly it seems most masculine men start balding much earlier than "pretty boys". Exceptions may be hispanic men that tend to keep their hair more than non-hispanics.

From my pov i see it opposite. Most people who push solid beards at young ages seem to have their hairline thin(the case for me and my group of friends). Then those guys you see with no facial hair or body hair or just a minimal amount seem to be losing at the vertex. Also, me and my other balding buds are the more bulky masculine structured ones of the group. I'm def a dIffuse thinner in the front and all the compliments I get are about my jaw and my voice

I started thinning everywhere at the same time. I guess I'm kind of in the middle, not super masculine, but not feminine. Lots of body hair except for my back and upper arms, thick beard at 17, strong jaw, normal voice.

I'm definitely not what you consider masculine, infact I'll be the first to call myself a bit of a pussy haha.

I have a very defined jaw, can't grow a beard though. Been called a "pretty boy" a couple of times before. Guys my age that are balding or bald though (21-25) all seem to be fairly good at growing beards.
