The "balding Itch" Why And What Helps?

My head itches constantly with my early male pattern baldness. I have used Nizoral (although I admit not that often) and Head and Shoulders Itchy Scalp Care. No help. Anyone use another shampoo that helped or did finasteride help? Still haven't started that but if it made my head stop itching so much I might! Derm said I had seborrheic dermatitis but the scales from that have pretty much gone still itches. Does DHT cause this? Good shampoos or treatments?

I use head and shoulders 2in1 for men with coal extract. I had severe itch which was actually brought on by finasteride. I'm not sure if it's the shampoo that's helped clear up the itch or the fact I'm not using finasteride anymore. But it might be worth a shot to try that particular type of head and shoulders to see if it's any good.
