I stopped putting Proxiphen on my hairline for a while and my hair line started to thin again. Once I went back to using it on the hair line, I saw regrowth once again. I have quit minoxidil now for about 6 months or more. I have no sides from Proxiphen but from minoxidil I had alot. The number one reason I like Proxiphen is NO SIDES and it does not cause any negative cosmetic effects to my scalp or hair. I like the fact that Proxiphen is a comprehensive hair loss treatment for all types of thinning like thyroid-related thinning or age related thinning. Propecia is just for male pattern baldness. I need more than that as I have thyroid-related issues and I am aging too. I don't like minoxidil and I am never going back to it. My hair looks so much better without that stuff and my skin, face and eyes are so much better now too. I know Proxiphen has minoxidil in it but for some reason I do not have any sides with the Proxiphen.

Thanks for sharing all that information, DoctorHouse. I'm curious, though, about something else which I don't think I've ever seen you talk about: Prox-N. Have you ever used Prox-N at all, or is it only Proxiphen that you've had experience with? Any comments at all about Proxiphen versus Prox-N?

i would recommend proxiphen for the hairline only! its a cream and would be very hard to apply throughout the scalp.

Also, since I have been I believe the reviews from users are fairly positive. Yes Jacob, even when you take out Bruan.

There are plenty of garbage products out there..considered snake-oil..that have been available for just as long as Proctor's, and are still available.
