I'm certainly no expert but if you've been shedding 200 a day for 15 months obviously it's not a problem.

Do the math, 15 months is about 395 days. 200 hairs a day is 79,000 hairs. If the average person (with a full head) has 100,000 hairs on their head and the resting phase lasts 3 months you'd have much more than slight thinning by now.

You may lose a lot but I'd say it's growing back.

It will grow back but a bit thinner each time. Over time it will become noticeable.

Hey OP, I remember you asking me about this since I have the same type of hairloss. Basically since my hair is buzzed now I dont really see any hairs falling as much anymore. When I shower I see like 5 or 6. When my hair gets long again I will let you know how much I lose. I feel like im still using 300ish per day but since the hairs are way shorter now I just don't see them as much.

How much time is the question? Could finasteride be speeding this up?

No way could finasteride speed it up, its most likely slowing it down.

But he would have lost damn near every hair in those 15 months, assuming he has 100,000 hairs. 200 a day for 15 months puts him at 79000 hairs lost.

If all those hairs fall and they grow back 1 micrometer thinner your eyes will barely be able to tell the difference.

Maybe they're growing back like the others said. Have you noticed any spots with a lot of thinning or balding that you can see?
