You guys will always find something to remark on as an "explanation" or an "excuse" for a bald guy doing well for himself

in this instance, of course, the fame etc did him no harm but you have no idea how things would have been without the fame etc. He might just have a great personality.

Stephen does alot better than many or most of his other rich NW1 counterparts. There's millions of bald men doing well for themselves. Not all girls care that much about hair ~ you'd be surprised!

Sport stars always get beautiful women.

It doesn't matter if they are ugly, nonathletic, vulgar, violent, they just simply do.

I don't understand the positivism of people celebrating a bald sport star having a beautiful wife, as it is something weird to encounter. And also the usual negativism about him only getting her because of money, the only thing that lacked was a comment about her cheating on him with an NW1 poolboy, like if any other sport stars with hair don't get the same treatment from their wives.

I respect the athletes that end up marrying their high school sweethearts or start dating girls that play their own sport like Agassi did.

All this culture about footballer's wives really make me sick, there are doctor earning minimun wage and we idolize idiots kicking a ball and spending their millions. It's rather sad that many of them would have never made it big if it wasn't for government sponsored youth programs and they don't have the decency to return something to their communities.

Also these guys would have been courted from an early age by big clubs not government programmes. And they do give back 50% taxes.

But yeah most of them are complete arrogant idiots, but its not their fault really if it was'nt for idiots paying £100 a time to watch them and £50 for a t-shirt they would'nt be paid millions and given this status. Then maybe they would still have one foot in the real world. In the same situation you'd probably behave exactly the same.

Just like the Doctor's job,being a footballer or a sportsman isn't easy as well.They need to have talent to play in the top level....Lets not forget the fact that many of us look upto guys like footballers,rock stars,actors and celebrities more than doctors,lawyers,bankers,businessmen,etc;These guys entertain us and life would be a little dull without such larger than life characters.

The path that has taken Stephen Ireland to the top must not have been easy and he would have competed with plenty of other guys to get to this level just like any other athlete.

He gave up playing international football after the embarrassment of having his wig exposed, so missed out on all sorts of opportunities.

He should still be at Man City and thus a future Champions League regular and possible Premiership winner, theres no way of knowing if international football wouldve given him a high enough profile to stay on.

100% a wig, he quit playing for Ireland after his team mates joked about taking it off, apparently they wrestled him to the ground and started grabbing at it.

As SAF says it will haunt him in the later years of his career, especially if Ireland qualify for the Euro's or World cup and he has to miss out. He is a talented guy and did very well with Manchester City, but as I say hairloss has held him back.



And guys, holding up a famous 24 year old millionaire as an example of how bald guys can still get hot women, is as relevant as me saying a bald 65 year old tramp living on the street is an example of a bald man failing with women :whistle:

Both are extreme examples and thus useless to all of us, a tramp with a full head of hair would still fail with women and Ireland with hair would still be with the same skanks.

Its clearly a wig the colour and density and even texture dont match.
