Say at a good place where you're not doing it yourself.

I buy per cut hair systems and don't go to salon. One system can lasts me for 5 to 6 months Probably an average of $500 usd or less per year for me. The cost of hair system is cheaper than when I used to have my bio hair and more easy to maintain.

2 per cut systems around $360
2 Got2B (each lasts 6 months) $10
Isopropyl alcohol 3-4 bottles $10
Leave in conditioner 3 bottles $45
Misc (Shampoo, stronger glues) $50

Wow at those prices I think I'll try to master this!

Where do you buy from? Should I get it done professionally once so they can tell me my custom size and color or do you just figure it out?!

Screw chit hairgrafts lol My hair is not even that bad but when these are done right they look sensational.

It's always wise to start with a reputable salon. You get their expertise in choosing the right system (base, and configuration) for you, as well as a professionally created template. You also get an expert cut in and style. Once you have this, and your template (it should be yours when it is sent back from the factory), you can order from somewhere else, if you chose.

I need to say that with all due respect to @Hair Newbie , his experience is not the norm.

1. Pre-cut systems still need a minimum of work by a stylist, usually, unless you can cut hair yourself.

2. Two systems per year are doable (mine last 5-6 months), but not the norm, budget three.

3. Got2B glued doesn't work for everyone, and that is a daily remove, clean and re-attach. Not everyone wants to do that, most go 1-2 weeks using either adhesive, tape or a combination of both.

Good luck!

I bought all my systems from Lordhair. I highly recommend have a professional hair stylist to cut and do the fitting on your first system. I watched a bunch of YouTube tutorials and decide to do it myself but it wasn't easy in the beginning. Ask other members here to recommend you a good reputation salon that they have worked with. You can decide whether to continue with them or quits.

Your annual budget is wonderful!
Where are you from?
That's really difficult to find either salon or stylist in Russia (I don't talk about Moscow and Saint-Petersburg). And can you advise me clips from youtube where I can learn attachment -removing lessons? Thx!)

I live in US. I didn't come to any hair system forums in the beginning. Basically, I just watching youtube videos and do a lot of live chat with my supplier sale representative for advice before place an order my first system. I felt comfortable enough to do it myself. It was like learning a new hobby for me , but if it's something that is stressful for you or you think might be, I suggest going to the salon route. I watch a lot of HD direct,Lordhair, Hair4All, .... videos to learned. I like Curtis HairExperience old videos when he wasn't a dropshipper or reseller before.

This is my old threads
