site query: is it just me getting this spam

words keep turning to green links and spam like in the screengrab below. Did something happen to my browser?

how can I fix it?

Picture is too small to see, but I know what it is.

Download Malware Bytes Anti Malware ... install ... and run a full system scan with your browsers closed.

Once its done, that should be gone.

OK I've done that but it hasn't fixed the problem. I've also run a spybot scan and my Symantec antivirus scan but they haven't fixed it.


is there anything else I can do?

ah looks like I've fixed the problem by disabling an add-on in my browser. There doesn't seem to be a way to remove the add-on altogether though
