Side effects from finasteride are apparently rare, seems we must have every rare case on this forum. There's certainly alot more accounts of people with some sort of side effect on the internet than there are success stories.
And you can argue why would people come to the internet to post success stories, but you could say that there are an even greater number of people experiencing sides that also don't post about it. We don't know those numbers. Besides, they're only anecdotal so we shouldn't read too much into them.
Just found a load of pictures from 9 months ago before I started taking finasteride, before the constant burning, oily face, acne outbreak, loss of pigmentation in my hair and shedding 100+ a day that this drug has caused, and my hair density was immense, now its not. Silly me for thinking side effects are too rare to be a concern and that they cease once you drop the drug.
