Sick of getting my haircut & color matching. Can I just wear a stock 8x10 (way too big for me) & shave off more of my bio hair?

Can I just buzz everything off, throw on a stock 8x10, and then get the style of haircut I like?

In my mind, it'd basically be like a full cap w/ a twist - or am I missing something?

I just feel it'd be so much easier to deal w/.

Sounds like a good plan, but if you are aiming for a short cut on your system hair you have to make sure the stock piece is a snug fit. The bigger the floorplan the more the risk of the base being floppy (partly depending on your head-shape).

Thanks, Noah. I'm just going to rock a haircut like Jake Paul's, with maybe some more length in the back. It won't be short.

Because if the base doesn't fit you will get wrinkles, and if you also have short hair the wrinkles will be visible.

What kind of system do you usually get? Maybe it's best to get some long-lasting poly system so you don't need to keep getting it cut?
