Showering While Wearing Hairpiece ?

I get the sense that most people shampoo/condition their pieces when they are unattached. Am I right?

Who showers and washes their hairpiece while it's attached in the shower? I want to do it right now but I feel like it'd be damaging...

I just did it. It was fine.

I shower every day. Did you mean get the hair system wet?

I do, every 2-3 days, depending on whether I use product, or not.

Most people wearing will shower with or without, depending on their attachment cycle.

I only shampoo and condition mine when it is off. That is because I remove and re-attach weekly, and the piece only needs to be shampooed weekly. It is convenient to do it when the piece is off, because it is easier to keep the conditioner off the base and knots. I do wash my piece much more frequently, every time I take a shower, but just with warm water. I find that because the system hair doesn't get oily, warm water is enough to get rid of sweat, salt and dust.
