Should I use this Rogaine I just bought?

I'm 26 and my hairline is receding pretty bad IMO. The middle part that's left is also starting to thin. I was at Walmart last night and said screw it, its time to buy Rogaine. But now that I'm home with it and reading the box it says it doesn't help with receding hairlines/hair loss on the front of the scalp. Should I try it out for awhile or is it a waste of money for my situation?

From what I understand the reason it says it's not effective for those areas is because it was only approved by the FDA for the crown area. I have seen many posters get some amazing results on the hairline using Rogaine. Of course, results will differ for everyone.

try using a gaggle of stuff on your head! Its like battling an opposing army with only one tank. If you want better results you need to put up a fight on all sides of the battle field.

Sup man! Your receding hairline is pretty similar to mine. I'm in my mid twenties. Rogaine helped me at first but eventually it irritated the **** out of my temples and whatever hair I grew on Rogaine quickly went away.
But it might work for you if you don't have a sensitive/oily scalp! You could try biotin/saw palmetto. I don't care what some ppl say, but I'm using it now and it def thickened my existing hair.

Thanks guys. I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't have any negative effects. Even if it helps a little its worth the money to me.
