Shedding Like Hell!! What Is It From?

started minoxidil and ketaconzole for the hairline about a month ago considering I am a Norwood 2 @ 18. Hairline has been constantly itchy and seems to progressively get worse everyday. I just started taking Saw Palmetto 320mg, constantly derma-rolling, vitamin B6, biotin 10,000mcg, and some other vitamins. All of my hair on top has been shedding like hell and tends to be really itchy. Could this be a sign that it is working? Or is it something else that’s making it worse?

If you just started minoxidil then that is very likely the reason you are shedding, they even state it on the packaging/leaflet that it may happen. I wouldn't dermaroll alot as that can actually hurt the hair follicles, create scar tissue and I've even heard of a case of necrosis. Should be done once a week with 1.5mm needles.
Saw Palmetto is a very weak DHT blocker and the hair loss community has mixed feelings about its effectiveness. Your best bet is to keep using minoxidil and switch the saw Palmetto for finasteride. Don't let the horror stories scare you, finasteride is small game compared to the big boys like bicalutamide and darolutamide.

Dermarolling can hurt the follicles? How do I know if I've hurt mine by dermarolling? Any obvious visible signs?

Signs to look out for is inflammation, prolonged burning sensation , hairs not growing back and/or growing in sparse.

I am turning 18 in a month and don’t think I should be taking finasteride quite yet. Many are aagainst it just like how many are for it. I will keep continuing the minoxidil regimen and hope for the best!

I started finasteride at 19, did me no harm. Do keep up the minoxidil though, but I would seriously consider adding finasteride.
