I want to share my experience with everybody and perhaps help giving you some confidence to try it. I will try to make it as compact as possible.
I'm 25 and I've been losing hair for the past... 7 years. I'm a pretty good looking dude, I hate to brag, but I just want you to know the diffference looks and hair make. Lately I've been feeling bad about my looks, even though I dress better, work out and take care of myself much more, the balding head was ruining almost everything. I tried the full bald look, twice. I didn't like it, even though it made me look better than the receeding hairline, it still wasn't near as good as with full head of hair. Often people would remember me as the "bald dude" or "balding dude".
And here I am, month into my first system.
# Ordering:
I'm not sure I can post who I order from here, so I will skip it. But if I can, I'll let you know! I went with a custom piece, fairly low density & EU hair as my real one always been very fine and thin.
#Attachment & Cut
My first attachment was horrible, glue getting into my hair, had to get help from someone to do the back tape for me... I also cut too much of my real hair and until today I have a spot in the back that is covered with the system hair, lol. Not so visible anymore, though! Then looking for a barber for the cut. I've called lots of them, everyone seemed busy, or generally not interested in cutting a system. My frustration got pretty high... I swear I almost wanted to give up or cut it myself. Later then decided to just put a hat on and walk with that huge amount of hair under it, to find a local barber and talk to them myself.
So I found one, she didn't have a problem cutting it, but was sort of... scared? To ruin the whole thing. She've never seen a hair system. Well, it worked out ok in the end. Or barely okay.

My first cut was rough. And I mean it. It wasn't horrible, but it was pretty bad together with how the hair is looking fresh before settling down. And guess what, I still just went with it and met with friends day after. Of course, everyone was commenting on it and asking questions. But none noticed it's fake. Until I've met with my cousin, who remembers me balding. He straight shoot me with "what is this, transplant? A wig?" "Looks like you wear a hat, haha". He kept making fun of it, I still fooled him it's just a "bad cut" of my real hair.
That made me think, that I should really fix it and go to the barber again. I told her exactly what to do, which was blending it a bit more and shortening the hair from the top of my head, cause she left way too much of it up there.
#Today
After 3 weeks the system settled down. With the new haircut it started to look very good, way way better than previously. It's still not perfect, I messed up the template a bit, I don't glue my front anymore cause the glue just sucks. Maybe it just doesn't work with my scalp. But I found tape to be enough, especially that I wear my hair down. I've learned everything from Curtis on YouTube and these forums (Big thanks to Noah). It's really not that hard. The only issues I'm facing at the moment is every morning my hair is a mess, tanlged mess. I just bought a satin pillow in hopes of at least making it a bit better. Also, I'm slowly losing the color, but I'm about to order "back2natural" product which is made just for that specific problem.
I wanna show you the photos of me with my old hair and the new one. To show the results, but also to maybe get some feedback. Maybe I just fool myself it looks good, when it doesn't. It's far away from perfect but I'm ok with this, I'll get better with time.
Sorry for the black bars and cuts!! I rather stay anonymous. The only people I plan to tell about it is of course parents and dates. Rest doesn't have to know. I wouldn't mind telling everone, but you know how people are. Endless questions and talk. Why, How...
Cheers!
