Severe Itching Since I Started Finasteride

I started finasteride around 5 weeks ago. My scalp is super itchy especially at my hairline and the hair loss hasn't changed.

Why would finasteride cause scalp itching?

Same thing happened to me. I stopped it because of other side effects. I do use head and shoulders for men with coal extract and my head doesn't itch anymore. I'm not sure if it's the shampoo or the fact I don't take finasteride anymore that has stopped the itching but it might be worth a shot

I don't have any side effects at the moment

I bought the same shampoo yesterday lol

I think it was a few days/week after I started using that that my itching decreased significantly. Hope it works for you
