I don't think that this is a viable path.

There are anecdotes of scalp massages helping.
They are not proven and they are very impractical, just like botox for hair loss. People who believe in scalp tension theory should use muslce relaxing medication which is waaay more practical and effective probably.

Well, of course I have tried it, concurrently with microneedling. If you can microneedle then you don't need to do the thirty minute massages and they are too much and cause many folks to shed. Microneedling is much more viable.

Needling is the better alternative surely, especialy if you use anything topical.
Op said more bloodflow means more hair. That is not the full truth. What reverses hair loss is angiogenesis. Im pretty sure microneedling also works because of angiogenisis.

I am trying botox for hair loss too. Since it makes you look younger it is a twofer.
