Scalp Biopsy Says Superficial Fibrosis....?

I had a scalp biopsy done and the result was superficial scalp fibrosis. Im still waiting to hear back from my dermatologist, but i can't find much info online about this. Im 28, I do have PCOS and have been experiencing hair loss thinning mainly in the back and sides of my head. Does anyone have any experience or info on this?

I dont know what that means

Fibrosis means 'damage' like scar tissue i think.
You have scarring alopecia? I dont know why they are saying 'superficial' though if that was scarring alopecia.
Check out a private group called Alopecia Areata on Facebook they know a lot about various women's hair loss and diagnosis.

Does it say if lymphocytes are present?
