Hmmm well if you can't use Minoxidil I really don't have the best of news for you.... For about the first eight months I was on Finasteride my hairline still continued to recede like clockwork. It's just not designed for frontal balding, and for the majority of men with frontal balding it won't do a thing. About forty days after starting a minoxidil regimen my hairline bounced back considerably, then started receding again about two months later, but more gradually now...

There's always hair transplant surgeries but I really only say this because you're clearly looking for alternatives. But I can tell you a hair transplant is not really a viable solution for most people.

And no, sorry, neither spironolactone nor Folligen will do a thing if you have aggressive frontal male pattern baldness. If you're very casually balding you can give it a try, but I wouldn't expect miracles.

Btw, why can't use you use Minoxidil? It comes in different forms and solutions.

I have tried every topical arsenal along with taking propecia and its very hard to save the hairline. The only thing that does wonders for the hairline is a hair transplant when you are ready. The follicles at temples and hairline are just too tough to save but if you can save everything else then you will only need a small transplant to save your hairline and then you will be in good shape because you wont need to use up too much donor hair.

my 2 c:

Use the search function and read what

Michael barry: has posted on essential oils ( impresive results/good research/ studies done). Inexpensive and easily added to any shampoos/spironolactone cream/aloe gel/folligen/tricomin etc or an oil/ethanol topical.

Old baldy: posted good information on many stimulant and anti androgen substances besides the big 3 that you could experiment with and use alongside the big 3.

and yes to spironolactone and folligen. Good stuff
