Hello all,
I bought a 3 month supply of Rogaine and read through the little leaflet that came with it.
On there it says use for "thinning hair or gradual hair loss on the top of the scalp (vertex only as shown on the page) It is not intended for frontal baldness or a receding hairline."
What they call the Vertex I have always known as the crown and I have no thinning or hairloss there.
I do not have a widows peak or thinning at the temples either.
What I do have is thinning on the top of my head (I don't know the proper term for that area) from where my hairline starts on my forehead in the centre, I have a cow lick and that is thinning and behind that area too.
It has probably thinned behind that too but not as far back at the Crown.
I have not been shedding and do not seem to lose many hairs but I think each hair is reducing in size and I can see my scalp easier and my hair lays flatter than it used to, so maybe I am catching it early.
So I was thinking I cannot use the Rogaine but then had a read on this website and found
"Rogaine is for men who have lost a visually noticeable amount of hair density, and are not satisfied keeping the current density that they have. It works in all areas of the scalp, despite what the insert may say, and it is a phenomenal part of a combination regimen with Propecia and Nizoral shampoo."
What is your take on this?
And where can I buy Nizoral in the UK over the counter?
