As we all know company that makes Nizoral shampoo is going through big changes. They promised Nizoral will be available in July 2013. So far, I don't see any signs its back.

Well I was using Nizoral (1% keto) for over 3 years and I loved it but when I was done with my last bottle of Nizoral I had to buy some other shampoo with keto so I decided to go with Revita.

I've been using it for around 3 weeks. 3 times a week exactly the same I was using Nizoral, Monday, Wednesday and Friday leave it on the scalp for around 5 minutes. After a few days, I noticed I started shedding. My hairline got hit. So far I don't see any signs of growing those hair back and it's been over 3 weeks.

I'm not sure if I should stay on revita and see if I will work. Shedding is a good sign but I'm getting nervous because its been over 3 weeks.
I'm not sure if I trusts company thatakes Revita. They don't disclose the % of ketokonazole. Maybe I should buy Nizoral on amazon for around $50.
What do you guys think?

I thought I read somewhere that HairLossTalk.com would be offering Nizoral again. Any updates?

Pharmacy2U is a UK site that still sells Nizoral 2% cheaply and will ship internationally.

I think they also now sell Nizorelle 1%, which had been out of stock for a long time

you make it sound like they're deliberately trying to hide something. Why don't you contact them and ask? I suspect it'll be nearer 1%

I think it's 1% but I found it strange that they didn't want to mention it on the package or in the booklet attached with Revita. Perhaps its even lower that 1%. I'm wondering how accurate they are. From what I read online they are inconsistent. They changed the formula a couple of time.

We have it in our online store.

Its the real deal. Been using it for 2 weeks myself. Thank God ... my itching was going crazy again without Nizoral.

Its a small bottle - 50 mL but I tried to price it fairly. And its cheaper than others. Yes its from overseas, but its 100% legit. Same stuff inside the bottle, and shipped directly from the international branch of the same company that makes it in the USA.

Oh damn, I'm getting it :) you won't run out of it anytime soon are you? Do they still have some problems with factories?

50ml bottle? That's so small. It will last only a couple of weeks.

To quote someone else ;-)

"you need a small quantity on your fingertips for proper dose. Even 50ml would last for months using it twice or thrice a week."

You only need a dime sized drop on your hands. And using 3 times a week I am now at 2 weeks and still have half the bottle.

Don't be crazy like some of the guys here who pour a gallon on, and leave it there for 17 hours while they sleep. :)

Im actually testing how long mine lasts because I agree with you - the bottle is little. But so far so good. 2 weeks in, about 7 uses so far and its not even half gone.

For $7 its fairly priced.

I don't think we will run out. I got quite a few. Tell everyone :)

That's great. I ordered one bottle yesterday and will probably order another 2 in a week or so.
I agree with you, there is no need to use a lot of it. I always pre wash my hair with regular shampoo, rinse it and then use just a little bit of Nizoral. I think Nizoral will be available in the US pretty soon. It's already July 8th.

Admin, yes I can reference a real experience, a Nizoral bottle 100 ml bought in July 2012 (mixed with some AA acid cream) lasted until March 2013. Believe it or not, that's roughly 8 months for eod use, and used in just enough amount (soaked fingertip) to have visible effect and feel. I don't know how much the cream added to nizoral solution would affect the efficiency, but 50 ml projected to last only for a month or so? is not sitting well with me

I placed order for Nizoral in Friday and it still wasn't shipped but the already took money out of my credit card.

The _Mentalist,
I'm wondering myself how long 50ml bottle will last. I'm hoping Nizoral will be available in cvs or wallgreen soon.
I decided to stop using Revita.
It did more damage to my hair than anything. My scalp was very dry - way more dry than on Nizoral and I use good conditioner every time I wash my hair.

I've seen both Nizoral 1% & 2% advertised. Is it better to use one over the other?

Thanks.

It depends how often you will use it. I think 1% keto is good enough if used 3 times a week or any other day. it won't dry your hair as much as 2%. But some people says they got better results from using 2%. I believe there are still some old threads in success stories section about guys who got nice regrow while using 2% Keto Nizoral shampoo. I remember reading them a few years back. Pics were included.
