Revita and Nano together?

Nano should be used 4-6 times a week according to Dr Proctor. Revita should be used at least 5 days a week. For people who plan to use both, what schedule will you have?

As for Revita and its cost, I think I can cut usage down to only 3 bottles of it a year or around $100, by using a prewash before every Revita day. What do you guys think? I might do the same for Nano, but I'm just wondering how to settle that days thing.

I guess I could do Revita Mon, Tues, Weds, Thur, Fri and Nano Monday Wednesday Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. What do you guys think? if you have to use both on the same day, which one would you use first? will using nano then revita or revita then nano cancel out of some of the positive effects on the hair follicles?

I ordered the NANO first just today since I still have some Nizoral left. I will probably run out of Nizoral and Spectral DNC at the same time so I'll be able to combine shipping on a couple more bottles of Spectral and my first bottle of Revita.

My plan is to do REVITA TWO DAYS on, then NANO for one day, and repeat this cycle.

I thought about rotating them both EOD but I'm personally going to put more faith in the Revita. 2 days on and one day off will get me 5x/week though.

Will be using the pre-wash method probably with some cheap <$1 Suave too. Man the waiting game is the worst part, especially when you already have PLACED the order! I want my NANO!!! :D

im hearing good things about NANO. im gonna finish up my Nizoral. use the Revita with a pre wash. then order some more Revita and order nano and switch between those.

Is there a site that you can get ALL this from? including Spectral. i would hate to buy from all dif sites and pay alot for shipping overall.

its probably a lower concentration nano like the one available from lef.org right? the concentration isn't as high as the one in the nano sold by dr proctor at his website.

wouldn't it make more sense to order dr proctor nano which is higher concentration and then do a pre wash with suave?

I ordered Revita last Thursday and I’m also using Nano.

My rotation plan:
Morning: Mon-Tue-Wed = Revita
Morning: Thu-Fri-Sat-Sun = Nano
Evening: Sat-Sun = Revita

I’ll wash my hair twice a day, two days a week.

I’m going to pre-wash with Jason TTT.

I’m also using a shampoo from La Roche Posay called Kerium Intensif (1% piroctone olamine and 2% salicylic acid)
Maybe I’ll pre wash with it twice a week.

Depends on the definition of "making sense". I don't want to spend too much money on all of this stuff so a good compromise is the NANO lite which proctor thinks works good too.

it wouldn't be that much money though at all. you could probably use 2 bottles a year of it with a prewash so that would only be $80 a year.

That's true, but 2 bottles a year w/prewash of the version I bought would only come out to $42/year. I could've invested that other $38 into some EMU oil, spironolactone tabs & cream, Retin-A, or simply saved the money or put it towards debt too! :D

sounds good but I think you should do nizoral 1% twice a week on your nano off days, and use a thickening shampoo for a minute after your growth shampoo, and not use a thickening shampoo as a pre-wash since it could mess up the other thickening shampoo. Baby shampoo with some tea tree oil and rose mary would be a better 10 second pre-wash.

Cassin says Aveda Pure Abundance is the best there is, and he has tried everything. Any Revita users care to comment on that?

collegechem,

There wouldn't be a NANO off day in that schedule because of Revita, which has ketoconazole in it. No need for Nizoral anymore if one is using Revita.

Also it has been recommended, I think Bryan said so as well, AGAINST using any type of shampoo after these medicated ones like Nizoral/Revita/Nano? I'm guessing because it can wash off some of the active ingredient? This kinda doesn't make sense to me though because when you rinse off your head anyways, that would be the case then since you're literally rinsing off the shampoo. It's not the case since some of the ingredients have already absorbed into the scalp. Maybe a secondary thickening shampoo would interact with the other "stuff" rendering it less effective?
