Hi I'm using derma pen A6 1.5 mm every week + aloe vera
minoxidil foam 5% once a day + latanoprost 0,005%

I noticed in one month of use a big improvement in thickness of hair with the lotion.
No noticeable regrowth but some miniaturized hair seems going terminal.

Thinking maybe add topical dutasteride, maybe in meso I don't know yet.
Too many sides with finasteride oral or topical.

Before

After

Thats a pretty good start! I am similar but have a bit more hair.....i hope i see similar results as i just started

how often do you use the pen and for how long? do you dry derma pen or use something? and im presuming the aloe vera is for after

I would say keep going as you are, dont add too many things to the mix too soon if you dont need to.

Have a look at the zix thread

Hey, I'm using the pen once a week for about 10 15 mn I guess, I try to go everywhere the best I can.
The aloe vera is before, cause dry skin, it makes the micro needling less painful.

And yes for the topical dutasteride I'm gone wait and see the experiment of the guys on the forum first.
Plus I want to see how far can I go with minoxidil+dermapen.

Very good luck to you! i would say think of adding a DHT blocker like zix

i think i will buy some aloe vera and try it as the pen hurts! :(

Not bad at all, you got good results fairly quick. You’re a good responder so stay consistent, I have a feeling you’re going to make great success as months go by. But don’t let your results go to waste, you need a dht blocker if you want long term maintenance

I'd venture to say that your success is due to the dermapen and not the latanoprost. 0.005% is a very small dose of latanoprost as most studies have used 0.05% or 0.1%.

Next time you post a pic try to make sure the lighting is the same in both the before and afters, and in your second pic your head is tilted up higher than the first pic. I'm not negating your results, I would like to have seen the crown in your aftrr pic the same way I saw the crown in the before pic

Hello, not much change, my hair are looking more dense every weeks ! Really happy with the treatment.
It is how it look like with non direct light, the front is much better, hoping for the crown

Really great progress

I do think you need a DHT inhibitor like finasteride or low frequency dutasteride (0.5mg/week)

Sorry it is 0.05% latanoprost actually

different light

I'm thinking about topical dutastide, I'm on the discord but I will wait a bit to see the results.
I live in France close to Spain, I will maybe give a try to mesotherapy Dutasteride, which is common there.
Check here the compound pharmacy I use for Topical Finasteride, you are interested in Topical Dutasteride they ship to most world wide countries.

Great results. Are you using foam or liquid minoxidil? Still without fina or duta?

I'm using Foam version, it is a preparation from the pharmacy with tricofoam from Fagron.
Still without fina or duta, and from what I read from others topical Duta of the forum, I'm kinda lose hope about it.

Im using the same thing from an Implant specialist in France. He says "use it once every day during 3 months, it will stop the hairloss and then you will need to use it only 2-3 times a week to maintain). He s been using it for 10 years, and his patients have stop using finasteride and still maintain after years.

What's amazing is that tricofoam represents 99% of the cost of the preparation. (130 Euros for 2-3 months)

Your specialist was in Marseille ? mine had the same speech. In fact 60% of the price is the latanoprost.
The trichofoam is not expensive
