I quit Finasteride almost 14 months ago due to developing Reflex Hyperandrogenicity. After eight months, things felt normal again. Yet I would like to give it another shot. Should I just a 1mg dosage or cut it down to a lower dosage to avoid the same thing happening again?
Most likely no matter what dose you take the same thing will happen. But I would try half a propecia first to see if you can even tolerate it. Personally I would have tried it topically but you said before you had some pills left over you wanted to experiment with again.
How could you tell it was RH? acne and hair growth on other parts of the body seem to be side effects of finasteride, but I think if you notice an unusual increase in libido while on finasteride (pardon my french but, extremely horny) then it could be due to RH. Did you have a weird increase in libido on finasteride Obsidian?
If you and your doctor can both trace RH back to your finasteride intake, then I think it would be foolish to restart. Make sure you are checking with your doctor.
