Receding Hairline-19

Hi guys,

Just looking for some advice; in the last few months I've noticed my hairline has started to recede, I have medium/long hair and its usually brushed forward so I haven't really noticed it until recently. Obviously I'm hopeing its just a maturing hairline although it seems to be receding more and more my forehead has always been large though(gradually getting larger ). My father is completely bald but had a full head of hair/straight hairline until around 35.

my hairloss is at a similar stage to yours. check the density and thinning of your crown

Hi there seems to be no balding in the crown area, I have a small circle where the hair originates in a spiral but im pretty sure thats always been like that, seems totally fine in the crown, just the hairline.

Take solace in the fact that NOT A SINGLE female can recognize that as a receding hair line. It's not really until a NW3 that they notice. At this point the only people who can tell are yourself and to a lesser extent, other balding people.

Your father's side is a great place to pick up other health problems, what does the hair situation look like on your mother's side?

My mums father is now 67 and still has hair, its thin and wispy but he's an old man.
My mothers brothers both still have their hair and are around 40.

Your hair is about the exact same condition as mine. Crown is good (though my reason for this is from propecia) and hair line is slowly receding, but isn't noticeable yet.

Wouldn't it be great to stop it right now and go on with this head of hair for life?!??!

I'm hoping I can find something that will stop the shedding. I'm on proecia but it's not effecting the hairline only the crown and I've just started using minoxidil on my hairline so nothing yet.

I've also started the Vitamin E complex that supposedly regrew hair in 100% of a tiny sample of people in Japan. So we'll see how that goes.....

I'm also going to try Nizoral as soon as i find some.

I'll let you know if i find any solution....
