Hi guys,

This is my first ever post, I've recently noticed that my front hairline has worsened, especially by the temples. I've attached a photo of my hairline from both angles, what stage of recession do you think I'm at? I think my hairline is awful, is 23 too young to start finasteride?

I doubt that 23 is too young.. I'm 18 and I'm considering it at 19 lol. I recommend visiting a knowledgable dermatologist for a more thorough and proffesional answer about Finasteride etc. But yeah, if you want to save your hair finasteride is a must. minoxidil and Nizoral can be helpful aswell.

You are Norwood 2.5 Perfect time to start finasteride. Don't expect miracles, the best you can hope for is a half to your hair loss.

Hairline still looks good, but if it keeps receding then it will look bad. Get on finasteride and save that sh*t.

Thanks for the replies guys, I have officially started finasteride today. Would you recommend anything else to go alongside it?

When you dont get sides and finasteride works well id consider hair transplant in a few years to fill out the corners

That's the dream, in the meantime I've read that minoxidil can promote hair growth around the temples? I'm unsure whether my hairline is too far gone though
