I need to read this

Female pattern hair loss in complete androgen insensitivity syndrome.

Abstract
Female pattern hair loss, also known as female androgenetic alopecia, is generally regarded as an androgen-dependent disorder representing the female counterpart of male balding. We describe female pattern hair loss occurring in a patient with complete androgen insensitivity syndrome suggesting that mechanisms other than direct androgen action contribute to this common form of hair loss in women.

Gaah this is scary at. It's post menopausal but still

high total testosterone was significantly associated with increased risk of estrogen receptor-positive cancers, irrespective of progesterone receptor status.

I noticed my part widening at my crown. It's subtle but it's definitely there. I blamed the pics on bad lighting... hitting my head but pretty sure it's just thinning

Progression:

Temples go mostly bald...this takes AWHILE
Then that spreads to frontal recession
Next my crown

GREAT

Been on finasteride almost 2 months now. I hope it works ugh

I think I reached fully juvenile temporal points on the right side but left side still looks terrible. It looks like norwood-like recession. Hair condition is slightly improved - it's not that oily anymore.

To me it looked a little better in June actually....

What happened to you girl. Any updates. I think your "Norwood" progression was caused by traction alopecia from wearing too much extensions or tight hairstyles.
It' not due to androgenetic alopecia.
This lady had similar problem to yours and regrew her hair.

That's how to do it.

I am in not good situation now. People on this forum told me that I don't have any hair loss, but that's hair loss. Isn't it? I have bald patch on the left temple that I cannot regrow and diffuse thinning on the left side. I don't think that normal ponytail look like like that.
As you can see the right side fine including the temple. My hairline was never like that I used to have perfect hairline in rounded shape with perfect edges. The left corner used to look exactly like the tight. I started to feel that something is wrong with my hair a year ago. I checked my temples but they were perfectly fine. But in February I noticed increased hair fall and developed that bald patch within two weeks. And then I continued no shed miniaturized hairs and diffuse.
Mine is definitely not due to traction alopecia. I started thinning long before I tie my first ponytail.
I am considering lavender oil for future treatment. I hope it will help.

I unfortunately have Androgenetic Alopecia. :( my hair is way worse than when I last posted here. My hair is shot. I lost not only my temples completely, but my sides, sideburns, nape, and the hairline across my forehead and my top is becoming all see through and thinned. My hair loss was fast and aggressive and definitely not traction alopecia as I never wore my hair up or extensions when it all started. I’m being fitted for a CNC because that is my only option. It’s insanely expensive, but a much better alternative to a classic wig. I guess it’s a good thing I never had children otherwise I would never be able to afford one. I have diffuse hair loss plus Norwood. I should get a biopsy to rule out frontal fibrosing alopecia but my derm says no because I have vellus hair in all my bald areas. She said I could biopsy to check for diffuse alopecia areata incognita but I need to be actively shedding with scalp tenderness when the biopsy is done so I’m just waiting for my shed and scalp pain to return before I go for the biopsy. I also have so many more kinky acquired progressive kinking of the hair hairs everywhere. I can’t believe how bad my hair is. I’m coping better with it now and feel better knowing the CNC is an option for me and I know I’m privileged to be able to afford one so it helps me keep my anxiety and panic in check but I’m just in disbelief this happened so fast and no treatments have worked for me. My hair is a total mess.

@Bluelilac have you looked into spironolactone?

Female pattern hair loss—a problem that affects about 40% of women by age 50—is caused by androgenic alopecia, which is associated with overproduction of androgen hormones in women. Spironolactone has anti-androgenic effects to inhibit these hormones. In one study, 74.3% of patients taking spironolactone reported stabilization or improvement of their female pattern hair loss. Note that minoxidil is considered the first-line treatment for female pattern hair loss, and spironolactone is usually only prescribed when patients don’t respond to minoxidil
