Radius Of Minoxidil Absorption

Guys I have never found an answer to this question. Maybe one of the experts know like Bryan or maybe i'm just a retard. Has it been determined the actual Radius that minoxidil absorbs under the scalp. Reason being is that at the moment I am making an effort to make sure all of my scalp is directly in contact with the minoxidil. However I have read for example on Dr Lees site that the minoxidil spreads underneath the scalp once absorbed. Directions from his site are to part hair in 3 places and apply, but is this going to affect the whole scalp or only the area in which it is applied.

The skin is a reservoir for topical drugs. Repeated applications accumulate and are released over several days (highly lipophilic drugs can persist for weeks). It's not worth worrying about saturating every follicle during every application. If you don't hit it this time, you'll hit the next, or the next...

As minoxidil does not appear to protect the follicles from damage, there's even less reason to be concerned about insufficient coverage. Topical antiandrogens warrant a bit more attention in that respect.

Any tips on applying the foam? It seems like when i try to dip my fingers in the cap to scoop it out a lot of the times it will roll right off of my finger and i have trouble getting decent size portions of the foam out at a time. Also when I am trying to scoop out some foam, it seems like the foam starts dissolving and it feels like I only got onto my head half of what I put in the cap. Any advice?

That's what I do now too.... I started off using the cap, but it's a pain in the neck.

My only problem is that it feels like more winds up on my HAIR than I want now.... still, I think some of it is on the scalp, so... good enough, right?

yeah same here. i use spectral dnc which tingles a little when you apply it
its got to the point now where unless im sat with my scalp burning like
mad i go upstairs and spray some more on!

Can we say obsessive compulsive disorder? LOL All honesty, I feel paranoid also. I feel like it's not getting in there b/c of the existing hair blocks the absorption.
