Tips:
Summon someone:
Mention anyone in your post using @username and they will receive a notice to come check out your comment.
Changing forum appearance:
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Default Theme" button. From here you can select several other color themes. One is specifically made for night-time viewing.
Notifications:
Keep an eye on the Flag and Envelope in the upper right. Important notifications will show up there from time to time.
Cleaning out your Inbox:
Cleaning out your inbox to open up more space isn't very intuitive. Eventually you'll get a notice that it's full. Hover over email icon, top right, and click "Show All". Check the checkbox next to the ones you want to delete. Select "Leave Conversation". Leaving the conversations removes them from your inbox.

Other Tips:
- Click your Username at the top and set your "Preferences" including Time Zone, Avatar, and Posts you've participated in that you may want to see followup responses to.
- When you create or post in a thread, you are automatically subscribed to receive email notifications. You can undo this setting in your preferences, or at the top of the specific thread.
- Keep an eye on the blue text marquee at the top of the forums. It will periodically contain important announcements.
