Youngndumb,
Man you can wear a cusom toupee' for a time while you get this thing straight. A visit with a good cosmetic surgeon in your area can give you an evaluation of what dermatologically can be done for you.
There ARE some ethical transplant surgeons out there who can assess you via the internet also. Dr. Robert Jones, Dr. Cole, Dr. Bernstein, NHI. Dr. Bauman in Florida has a good rep. There is a guy in Atlanta whose name escapes me at the moment who has a good reputation.
Methods of smoothing bumpy skin are dermabrasion and laser resurfacing. I dont think Id opt for the resurfacing because that may be able to present problems for you should cloning ever become a reality.
I promise you this though youngndumb, a good cosmetic surgeon will (If he/she is any kind of human being) take interest in you and give you the best advice they can.
I want to make sure anyone following this thread sees what IM talkin' about concerning future recession. This is George Carlin in the 70's at Dartmouth

HES got a HAIRLINE.
He was on LENO last night (69 years old now).
http://letterman.iscool.com/june97/6-16a.jpg Thats about what he looks like now. His sides have receeded back to his ears. His back baldspot has gotten pretty big. We have been waiting on a "better propecia" since 1997 and weve gotten nothing. The only thing that might really "halt" further balding is a topical androgen receptor blocker that does not get systemically absorbed (and turn you into a woman more or less) like RU58841 was purported to be (but we never found out because Rousseau pharmaceuticals never put it in production). Carlin was in his mid-30's or so in that first pic where he had hair. Lots of men like youngndumb are in their damn twenties with much more recession than that, thinking that they will "have enough" always to get more. Its a bet. Its a bet on better genetic therapies or cloning to come and bail you out. Now, as buzz cuts are more popular than ever, is the time to wait if youre balding young, and follow the new technologies, treating it if thats your fancy, but not drawing a line in the sand. If you wind up as bald as this famous judge, youre
