Solo,
Pure philanthropy to be honest.
I know young men have a "I'll fix it" attitude. They feel invincible and that they can conquer the world. Well, science has not conquered the inevitablity of male pattern baldness as of yet.
Ive stated over and over that if you only start losing your hair in your thirties, and your lineage suggests that perhaps NW4 or so is your final state of baldness at an advanced age, a good Doctor can do wonders for you.
However, the younger a man starts to bald usually (according to every dermatologist and Doctor Ive ever spoken too) indicates that a man is really going to horseshoe pretty badly. The young'un's who start to receed at 21 and get pissed about it (like youngndumb) are the guys who can literally ruin their entire lives by getting surgical work done. I think 35 is a great age to start looking at surgery if you only recently have seen recession. Even then, Id advise a guy to try one year of propecia and see if its well tolerated (side effects) before getting with a good Doctor and designing a hairline. The really best docs in the biz that Ive talked to (have emailed many) dont like to do work on guys under thirty. A man that goes to MHR for instance will be told a fairy tale even if he's friggin' 19.
Its my sincere hope cloning is going to be able to provide the vast amount of hairs docs need (cloning will be administered at hairtransplant clinics) to create a good hairline in front of a headfull of hair. But while buzzes are popular, early receeders should take advantage of them. Ive heard the 'hard sells' and the lies in person. I know what of I speak in the hair game. Believe me.
