Question about Propecia and Liver

I was just curious, my girlfriend tells me I have a weak liver.

Have there been any studies done, or does anyone know, if Propecia has been linked to liver disease or damaging your liver. If so , can you fix it or are the results irreversable?

If you have any liver problem, don't take finasteride.

I don't have " Liver Problems ". My girlfriend is an acupunturist and I have things like a sore back all the time, tired alot, little things that she says is all associated with the liver. She also looks at my tongue ( that's what they do in Chinese medicine ) and she says my tongue shows signs of liver deficiancies. So, I wouldn't say I have liver problems....medically speaking a doctor hasn't told me I have a weak liver or anything. I just don't know if Propecia will cause liver problems. If it does, will the liver recooperate?

Anyone have evidence of Propecia causing liver damage?

Id get some bloodwork done. My Doctor has said its possible for long term finasteride use to induce liver problems. Be clear with your Doctor and he'll/she'll probably be kind enough to do a comprehensive blood test.

Could it be you have a liver deficincy caused by using Finastride for a long time?
