I was wondering, is it normal to pull like one or two hairs every time I run my hand through my hair? I've got a feeling that if I do this for an hour i'll pull out like a thousand at least. I don't feel any pain whatsoever. It's been happening for like 2-3 months now and I can't tell if my hair is thinning (at least it's not obvious to me). It still looks quite normal, like, I can see scalp through harsh light but nothing too bad.

I think it is normal, as long as you are not losing ground or density and hairs are being replaced then there is no reason why it wouldn't be normal.

Can't really tell if they're getting replaced tbh, lol
I'd like to assume so

Try comparing pulling out hairs from the top of your scalp with the back of your head, just above the occipital bone. There will be your answer.

What you describe does not sound normal to me.

Well I pulled like one or two out from the back of my head but that's pretty difficult to do.
Can't really use your advice, because i've got an undercut tbh
Oh and by the way, something else i find unusual is that I barely lose hair in the shower, like, 5 hairs at most.. sometimes I don't see any of it on my hands at all.
Update: found about 10 on my pillow this morning and about 20 more fell off after rubbing my head for an hour like an idiot
