Has anyone experienced possible symptoms of gyno, but been able to rid themselves of the symptoms or full-blown gyno and continue taking propecia? To explain I'm not sure if what I am experiencing is gyno, but there is soreness in my chest that feels like the day after a good chest workout along with a feeling of heartburn.. Along with that there's a little bit of swelling under my armpits leading out to my chest that feels like swollen lymph nodes. I'd really hate to give up on propecia especially since I've only been on it about 2.5 months and I want to see what my options are in terms of reducing these symptoms and staying on propecia.
On a side note I have been to the my GP and they simply said there was some swelling and it could possible turn into a case of gyno and might not, but she recognized there was some swelling and she didn't say that it was my lymph nodes, but I'm pretty sure that's what she was referring to when she was feeling my chest and under my armpit. She wasn't much help though.. She simply said it looks like you're going to have to choose which route is worth the risk and said that I could simply hop off propecia for a week and see if it is for sure from that.
I figure I could try taking propecia every other day or simply try riding it out and taking it normally and seeing if the symptoms simply go away and is just a case of my body adjusting to the change in hormones.. I guess I'm also curious if anyone has just pushed through sides like this and they eventually just went away?
I figure this board is a lot more knowledgeable when it comes to hair loss medications, their sides, and how to counter them while staying on certain medications than my GP so any suggestions I'd be glad to hear!
