First off I've changed the title of this thread because I'm sick of people causing alarm, when they fail to accurately describe the situation.
You've been having problems because you keep changing your dose.
You changed it by over 75% since you started because you "kept hearing scary posts", and have done so multiple times since you started.
That's why your hair got worse. Not because Propecia caused it.
Every time you change the dose, you introduce new hormone fluctuations.
Every time you introduce new hormone fluctuations, you introduce the strong likelihood of a shed.
Every time you increase or decrease your dose, you basically restart the treatment, by creating an entirely new hormone environment.
So you can absolutely *not* make the claim that Propecia "destroys hairlines".
You haven't been using Propecia the way it's prescribed.
If you were prescribed a cancer drug, and your tumor got worse because you decided you knew better than the prescribing dosage, would you blame the cancer drug for your tumor getting bigger too?
This is exactly the same thing.
This website is here to help people. If you're going to post that something doesn't work, make sure you're using it the right way first, and you understand hair biology enough to comment.
And don't scream censorship because your title was changed. My loyalty is to accuracy and helping people. Not to inflammatory, false scare tactics.
Also, im sure you know this should've gone in the side effects forum. But posting it in the main atiandrogens forum will scare more people right?
