Hello everyone!

I wanted to ask if anyone knows some way to prepare a homemade solvent. In Argentina we have problems with customs to pass this type of liquids and we have to have a plan b.

Have you ever heard of this preparation? lemon oil, sodium bicarbonate and water

Thank you!

Worth a try, but I don't think it would work. You'll smell very nice though.

Can't you just buy alcohol locally? Most places you can just buy it from a local pharmacy or DIY shop. Lots of people use it for things other than hairpieces. It is all you need. Ideally 99% isopropyl alcohol, but slightly lesser concentrations will work at a pinch.

Thanks for answering.

Isopropyl alcohol if I can get it, but this would not hurt an ultra thin skin prosthesis 0.03mm?

No, it won't do any harm. The proprietary solvents that you can buy for hair systems are basically just alcohol and scent.

Yes, ethanol will work, but not as efficiently as isopropyl alcohol (which is more commonly known as surgical spirit in the Anglo-Saxon world, incidentally).
