Hi all

I'm kinda new to the hair system game so he's my story.
I started using a hair system about 2months ago and went to a Professional salon for my first time, I was advised to go for a French lace unit as I play football and do a lot of sports.
To tell the truth I wasn't overly happy with it at first but over time I have got use to it. The biggest reason I wasn't happy with it was that I wanted an exposed hairline but the hairline on my unit doesn't look natural
Now that I have got more use to my system I am planning to go down the diy root and do all myself. I have looked into get a pre cut hair system as there is no salons in my area that will cut 1 in (i've looked everywhere)
My main question is has anyone ever got a pre cut hair system before and what are the chances of getting it looking right I was thinking of getting a custom or stock unit either from hair direct or lord hair has any1 ever got units from these companies??
any advice would be appreciated

Thanks

Hi PF,

As far as remote cut-ins are concerned, the good ones are surprisingly good. Also, you can use them to do your basic cut-in, and then go to a regular barber with the system on for any little tweaks that are needed to perfect the cut. I have done that with a good deal of success. A normal barber will usually be put off if confronted with a big mop of 6-inch long hair and will be afraid of botching the cut, but if you go in with an acceptable-looking cut already on your head, they will often be willing to do any little adjustments you want, probably for the price of a normal trim. That's my experience anyway.

I will PM you about the places you mention and a few other thoughts.
