This thread is best suited in the "Dealing with side effects" section.

With that said , you never took any blood tests to know your hormonal levels ??

Lol, dude, with all due respect, do you have any proof of some sort that can sustain your statement or it's just your own personal opinion? It's a site called post finasteride that has tried absolutely everything to get back to normal. It's true that some maybe got back to normal using some sort of treatments, NSAAs and many other things, there are some that get better or revert to normal without nothing, naturally, their bodies heal with time, but it's not the case for the majority. From the desperation, some poor fucks even tried finasteride again, different doses combined with different other things, just in case it could give them or the doctors a sign of something that maybe it's missed or maybe it could reset somehow, but as they said, it was the biggest mistake you could do, if you suffer from persistent or permanent damage...

And before somebody starts calling them freaks, insane, mentally ill, etc you could first look in the mirror and analyze your own lives, history and behavior and after you could check their thread called "Let's get to know eachother" or something like that, they made it especially to give details of their lives including their history including photos so that people stop thinking or assuming that they are some kind of rarity amongst the finasteride users...

If you take a look there you will see that there are a lot of people that are over the average of normality, from doctors to race car pilots who just wanted to keep their hair and trusted their doctors and studies just like most of people do, without doing any further or deep research after that. They were normal, most without any kind of medical histories or problems, they just took the f*****g pills because they are approved and the only things working, at least from the approved ones... That should make anyone think about it, regardless of their after decisions, at least you know what to expect, it would minimize the impact more if something happens...

I mean, NSAAs are known to not have the side effects of 5AR inhibitors since they’re not inhibiting 5AR. They don’t have an effect on testosterone levels besides increasing them, unless it’s newer NSAAs such as enzalutamide (which surely can’t be bought). Almost all males on hair loss websites don’t take NSAAs besides me and a few others, so it’s evident that you are not aware of what NSAAs are.

By the way, why do you type paragraphs upon paragraphs, yet it seems as if you aren’t saying much? It’s easier to condense what you’re saying into smaller sentences whilst focusing on making a point...

I find it crazy people are still denying PFS today. The fact it is still on the market today means health authorities consider it to bear a positive risk/benefit ratio, despite all the recent noise from PFS sufferers.

If there were to be a debate, it should be around whether this ratio is positive. I mean... the stakes are high... It is a real Russian roulette we are playing with this drug. Not everybody will suffer from permanent sides but for the ones who do, Finasteride is one of life's worst decisions ever made.

Seeing youngsters, aged 16-20, jumping on this pill - driven by their own insecurity - is killing me. For I am not sure they are mature enough to ponder this risk/benefit equation.

@OP Thanks for giving feedback. Prevention is not a luxury.

I look forward to finding alternatives that will push this drug out of the market.

No one is denying that it may or may not exist, but it’s definitely blown out of proportion. Some of the reports on this website have been ridiculous, to the point that you can’t even believe what people are reporting. Someone on this website somehow had every single side effect stated on WebMD from taking one pill of finasteride, and another claimed his penis shrunk by half of its initial size.

Younger males are mature enough to be aware of what they’re taking; it’s generally older males who seem to conclude that younger males aren’t aware of what they are doing.

Damn, you are really trying to convince yourself that you are smart. Poor kid, no amount of therapy would help you, the only thing you need is a good psychiatrist session, under lockdown and supervised with a straightjacket.

You are the perfect example of what these drugs can do to a male and it's impact on the brain, health, behavior and many other changes that your body and mind suffered. I pity you, tremendously but i have to block you because you are deeply ill and really need help that you won't get here or on any other place on the internet and everybody who responds to you or gives you attention only accentuates your disease and encourages it, and i'm not gonna be one of them anymore, so good riddance and good luck, you are gonna need it!

Finasteride is really not as horrible as people make it out to be. I mean, hairloss can lead to depression, self harm, loneliness, weakness and getting bullied (and many more). If finasteride was to save you from all these, then it's quite the amazing drug.

And, finasteride sides are minimal, those "PFS Sufferers" are all gather up in one place, trying to ban this drug and screw millions of others. Seems like they want to be heard so badly, but yet most don't give a crap about them.

Imagine thinking that the manufacturers of these drugs or the different companies that sell these pills, transplants doctors, dermatologists, care about some mental ill incels that would harm themselves or others or that destroy their lives because they are loosing their hair.

Imagine actually thinking that the industry cares about your problems and that they are not just exploiting your insecurities and mental illnesses and making a fortune from them, haha, mind blowing how deeply mentally ill a lot of you are!

I don’t care if they care about me or not, since it’s my decision to use this medications. They aren’t shoving it down my throat, neither are they holding a gun to my head.

Damn.. posts like these make me reconsider whether to take it or not.. Since finasteride is not working I need to do something. The long half-life is the fucked up part of dutasteride

Well it's kind of simple from my point of view, you either believe the studies that say it's safe and the people who also say it's safe, but after you can't start blaming x and y because you got sides that you can't handle or whatever could happen, or you could believe the studies that say it's not safe and people that also say it, but again you can't blame them for loosing your hair because you did not took the medicine because of their opinions. You are mature, i assume, you have a brain of your own, like most of us have, and i repeat, most of us not all, and you have also all the information available that everybody has, right here on the internet, at a click and a search button distance. Do your research, believe what you want and make your decisions based on you and your beliefs, your the only one who is gonna suffer the consequences, being they good or bad, nobody will help or cheer you after anyways..

Nobody is a doctor or a scientist here, with all the reading they have done, imagine that not even the "guys" who regained their hair through tranny regimes, they also read tranny forums where people already did this after reading studies and documentation available online from the scientists who studied these kind of things and that made the actual studies. Maybe you could say that the most informed ones are the ones who did put things from studies head by head and grew hair first with tranny regimes. But even then, they are a minority anyways, they are not doctors also, they are just lab rats that experimented a lot of dangerous things with and on their bodies that no sane person would ever even think of trying. You can learn from their experiences and make a decision and get some knowledge out of it also, that does not mean that they have an actual idea about what future holds for them for the risks they took, does not mean that they are doctors and all the evidence points on the fact that they just took information from all around the scientific community, used some drugs that showed potential in regrowing hair and actually some of them had success with it, if you can call success transforming into a hermaphrodite to get some of their hair back, who knows for how long...

That's kind of it, learn to assume your decisions and make responsible choices, not just listen to strangers or industries that don't give a f*** about you, or if you will be here with us tomorrow, or not..

Concerns of inhibiting 5AR when clinical depression already exists; it may or may not be worsening my depression. Bicalutamide increases dutasteride blood levels, resulting in increased 5AR inhibiting.
Lmao, kid, you were the one running around screaming how easy and safe dutasteride is and that youd do anything to not be bald

He's done most of the things anyways, the only and most important thing that is missing, is injecting acid into his balls like the "legend" of this forum did haha. I would give anything to get some new pictures of him, too see the full transformation...

Im using it buccally, I put it between my cheek and gum before I go to bed. In pg/mL, it’s around 270 pg/mL. In pmol/L, it’s at 1000. Did you get any changes from using E for 2 weeks? So far, there has been 1 person who got no gyno from 4mg of E
Thats still pretty good for just 2mg of estradiol. Changes in what? Hair? Obviously not. But i didnt experience any effects at all in those 2 weeks. I used legit estrofem. It was basically just a experiment to see if i develope gyno on that.
EDIT: When did you take the blood test to get 270pg/ml? As far as i know buccal/sublingual estradiol tabs peak and drop pretty fast. Thats why the people on MTF recommend 3x per day.
EDIT: Is it possible im not developing any gyno because of the testosterone im injecting? I really dont know enough about the interaction about estradiol and testosterone. Could be bro-science on my part

No i didnt. Im on 300mg of test. Im growing hair like a gorilla. Im definetely being bombarded with DHT and testosterone. I know what it does to my body because i used to take test in the past.

What are you talking about? Literally no one is combining bicalutamide and dutasteride but myself on this website. It is safe to use, but you do not want to be increasing the blood levels of it through external factors. I never said I wasn’t going to not use a 5AR inhibitor, my plan was to switch to finasteride.

It was around 10 hours after the dosage, but it’s concluded that bicalutamide may or may not extend the levels. I’m going to test what my levels are at the end of the day soon, just to see. If you’re injecting testosterone, wouldn’t the estradiol lower your testosterone levels?

Those levels at 10 hours are still pretty good. But yeah i assume they drop pretty hard at the end of the day.
Estradiol lowers testosterone levels because it makes you shut down. Im already shut down and injecting testosterone from outside. Some people think theres some kind of ying-yang battle between testosterone and estrogen and they kill each other, but thats not whats happening.

it take guts to come out like you did and make a post about it, so first of all you have my respect. We all need to put our beliefs in front of the facts.
i see you're taking care of the situation and you're not afraid of introduce exogenous t (which is right, if you need it, you need it), just dont rush the process, things take time - im not sure that all your 100% will come from that, it seems to be a multi factorial problem.
of course i hope you recover asap
