im 22 years old, and have noticed my left side hairline going back. does anyone have any idea what they think is the issue here?

Do you think it will keep progressing if i leave it? or is there a chance that it will just stay like this?
I might just watch it for now to see if it gets any worse than go to the dermatologist.

No one can predict your pattern with 100 percent certainty. I would suggest you go to a specialist with hair loss now and get their opinion.

There are signs of recession, it could very well be a mature hairline at this point, but it really is best to go to a deem to get it confirmed... my hairdresser told me I had a mature hairline at 19 years old, fast forward to 22 my whole forelock was starting to thin out.
