i was checking out prices for proscar at different pharmacies - one particular pharmacist asked why i was buying proscar (it was obvious he knew the answer before he asked the question) i didn't think he would buy that i had an enlarged prostated - since i'm only 23. so i told him it was for hair loss. He became VERY defensive - and said that he had a lot of experience with this stuff and people should not be using it for hair loss?
He claimed that there was no accurate way to cut the pills, that even machines can't cut them into perfect quarters and that you need take the same amounts consistently for it to work. He also said that there is a special coating on the pill that is supposed to make it difficult to cut them and that if any of it or the inside of the pill is released into the environment, it is supposed to be harmful to any women who ingest it in anyway - which he claimed was impossible to avoid at some level. anyway, this guy was a real hard *** about me not ordering proscar.
Is he right? is it that dangerous to cut the pills and do you really need to take the exact same amount consistently for best results. and am i really going to harm the women that may come in contact with the pills or pill remnants?
Thanks,
Derin
