Sooo...
I always see on here that you should never trust female doctors/dermatologists with respect to male pattern hairloss, but up until today I didn't believe it.
I booked an appointment to see a GP (I specifically asked to see her as she's always been good to me and my family).
I needed a prescription for lymecycline for my mild acne which I've been on for 9months and to ask for a blood test to check vit.D and liver function.
I told her I have been on finasteride for 3months. Firstly she tries to tell me that finasteride increases testosterone, then she tells me finasteride stimulates hair follicles, and then she told me that finasteride can actually make your skin oily, thus increasing acne and making lymecycline ineffective.
From what I understand about finasteride literally nothing she said about it is true lol.
