What would you guys recommend?
Ive been looking at RU and minoxidil.
Ive got miniaturized hair along my hairline and i need them to be terminal and stop the progression of male pattern baldness.

RU is useless in my opinion. You want to be using finasteride.

The problem is that your hair line could just be maturing. It is hard to tell people to jump onto a treatment unless you can be 100% sure that they will be PROGRESSIVELY receding. At the stage you are at it is not definite. Keep in mind pulling your hair back will always look receded just like most people wetting their top will look like they are thinning.

I would say to wait or have a dermatologist/hair specialist look at what you are talking about. Most people here will tell you to use Finasteride when it is probably unnecessary to do so.

The front has recently started thinning though which is making me nervous. Any advice you could give me?

Its way past a mature hairline, you can even see the thinning.
W

i had some issues with libido. Will finasteride kill my dick? What about development? Im pretty sure my puberty isnt over yet
If you haven't finished puberty I wouldn't touch finasteride yet. minoxidil could help you out until you are finished.

If you know for sure you are thinning then you can do a few things:

1) Massage the area daily
2) Use Rogaine foam 5% 1-2x daily
3) Take saw palmetto extract daily (take a good brand such as life extension)
4) Use a derma roller 1-2x per week at 1-1.5mm
5) Use Nizoral shampoo, leave on for 3-5mins 3x per week
6) Use a mixture of rosemary and peppermint oil with a carrier oil and apply on the hair line

without finasteride that is all you can do.
myself i would wait 6 months it might just be an extra-mature hairline. i've known people like that who you swear are going bald, yet they stay norwood 2.5 for years.

see what your family members are like. if they are all BALD and lost it early, you know what is in store for you

You're hairline is similar to mine, but my head is even smaller than yours so mine looks worse. If you're on minoxidil and RU already, not a whole lot else to do. Once you're old enough, maybe speak to a dermatologist about finasteride/dutasteride.

If you want to try the kitchen sink approach, oral castor oil has worked well for thickening my smaller hairs. 1-2 ml /day and it's supposed to be safe. It's used for constipation, normally so just don't take too much.

Also, you can look into dermaneedling to promote growth factors.

To be honest dude you dont look the sort of person who's ever had a NW0-NW1 hairline - including myself. Keep an eye on the hairline, take pictures etc and evaluate every 6 or so months. At your age your options are basically Nizarol, derma rolling and maybe Minoxidil - however many keep away from Minoxidil because it tends to have an ageing effect.
