Not Sure If minoxidil Is Working, Thinking Of Going On dutasteride

I've been on the big 3 coming up on 4 months now with mixed results. Some days I believe my hair is in better condition than baseline, other days I feel like I've lost ground.

One thing on my mind is that it's difficult determining if Minoxidil is working. There isn't any regrowth, that's for sure. Is 4 months too soon to make an assessment? Usually Minoxidil responders get gains quick, never seen a thread of someone observing Minoxidil buds of growth after 4 months, but I could be wrong. Another concern is inducing a shed. I know stopping Minoxidil causes all gained hair to fall out but will quitting royally screw the preexisting hair?

My hair is still thinning and I'm considering asking about switching to Dutasteride from Finasteride at my 6 month checkup. I guess the big 3 might not be enough.

way too early to decide on anything... take lots of progress photos and compare its the only way to track progress.

I would agree it's too easily. Don't just jump into dutasteride after a few months. You may find yourself in a years time snorting spironolactone pills and injecting estrogen.
