Recently went to my doctor about my hair falling out, assumed I was dying since I didn't know you could lose so much damn hair at 23. After a few tests he assured me it was just me going bald and all I had to do to keep my hair was take propecia and use a liquid minoxidil treatment (he claims liquid is more effective than foam???). Since the doctor's visit I haven't really noticed anything except the minoxidil feels nasty as **** and really dries out my scalp. My internet research led me to this site I realized lots of people prefer to use the foam. So I guess my first question is has anyone tried both and actually noticed a difference in effectiveness? I'm sure the foam is less intense than the concentrated liquid but I'm not sure I'm okay with the increased expense of foam for less results. I also noticed that I need a fancy anti inflammation shampoo like the Nizoral or Regenpure, and it seems the consensus is that Regenpure is better, but wtf is the deal with the Dr and Nt versions? I surmised that the Dr was the medicated version comparable to Nizoral, but Nt is not a conditioner, it's another shampoo? So then what do I use for conditioner? Or is it best to get just the medicated Dr version, use that every few days, and then use an entirely seperate shampoo/conditioner system on the other days?
Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give me.
