The perfect morning.

A limp dick, a cold shower, no masturbation, no coffee and smoke.

Dark and raining outside. Dog sh*t in the house again.

Find something in the freezer to defrost for dinner when I get home... No read meat?! Damn, I forgot about that one when I was sleeping.

Good f*****g Morning, Mister Norwood. How is your 'chi' today?

you forgot to add that you had to wash your hair in the sink with green soap.

man...such a dope...this isn't what is being implied....hot showers are not the cause but could most likely make things worse.

Right so he should have an improvement by stopping the hot showers, right dummy? :p

Or is it one of those "invisible improvements" that work only in theory and in the minds of ignorant people...

So is plastering this forum with ridiculous unproven claims of causes and cures for male pattern baldness.

So I guess if I mentioned that since I started washing and rinsing my hair with cold water my hair has improved, some here wouldn't believe me?
I take a hot shower - I just wash and rinse with cold water. It helps with the inflammation.

I can say with 100% confidence that my hair and scalp have improved since doing this. Now, I will say that I have also quit minoxidil for a month now, so that could have been the reason as well. It really irritated my scalp. I have also started Hair+Nails+Skin Vites and Nioxin shampoo.
SOMETHING seems to be working.

I think others should try it and see if it helps. Another thought it this: could a chilled scalp trick the body into sending more warm blood to the scalp, helping with growth?

I think that that is defintely believeable. Cold water will help with any inflammation.

Also I do know that rinsing your hair with cold water will make it look cosmetically thicker after washing it but the effect is only temporary.

Condition your hair - which bloats the shaft, then rinse with cold water instead of hot . This will smooth the cuticle and keep the hair looking thicker for a while after washing.

Thanks! I didn't know that. I guess that's good and bad, in that I think things are improving but am still ignoring the real villian. :-/

Hi there, fot hose who are offended by my posts, i apologize but i feel that hot showers may contribute to hair loss
correct me of i am wrong:

1) it opens up the scalp pores and loossens hair causing them to fall out?

2) it may kill cells for hair growth?

3) the body recognises some kind of thermal regulation is needed due tot he hot water on the head and thus thinks hair is a hindering factor for the evaporation theory and start to reject them?

Cold water will improve circulation. Apart from that i struggle to think of any other benefits. emmm....It certainly wakes you up and refreshes you along with testing your will power.

All three of those points are up for speculation. Not facts... but hey i'm not offended. You gotta be pretty hard to have cold showers all the time.

1) Is not correct

2) Is not correct unless you are using boiling water

3) Very unlikely as you head gets hot at various times not just because of hot water - It would mean that people in hot countries would all be bald.
