My hair line going wrost pls help

Hi iam 30 years old i hair line started 2 years ago.my hair is thick black color but now in my vertex my hair line is getting wrose.iam single.no heriditary hairloss in my family my father has hair his father has hair my mother father has hair iam the only one suffering.i used to be a chain smoker and a drinker but i have stopped before 2 year can this may be the cause of hair loss. .Can minoxidil can help my hairloss or any other solution .pls help guys .minoxidil is costly and they say i has lot of side effects so any other ways to get my hair back..????????

Get on Finasteride. Most likely Minoxidil will be needed too for growth. You can try both together or just go with finasteride first and see what it does.
