Hi there
Apparently for only 30 percent of minoxidil users the solution does something positiv. I was not a natural responder on my first 4 month trial.

I am wondering what options i could try in Order that minoxidil makes my hair grow. I heard a mixture with rethanol is helpful!

On another Note, i read on follicathought that a New Shampoo is coming out that should be helpful for non minoxidil Responders. Hope we do not have to wwait too long

Anyone knows more about when and where to get this Stuff

Yeah retin-a helps, you could always try low dose oral too.

Indeed, that could be interesting. However, in another forum it was mentioned this Shampoo has no Chance of success as it is only a Shampoo and hence is too short on your head to reach the follicle. Hopefully that is not true.

TRETINOIN, cause it increase . the enzyme that convert minoxidil into active minoxidil in the scalp ( that is why some people are not good responder, simple low levels of this enzyme ) .
And this is why the old Xandrox was so superior than minoxidil alone, or what most clinic use since the early 90s.

Dr. Lee's Xandrox success had more to do with the way he compounded his formulas, which no company has been able to replicate since. Not all of his minoxidil products contained retinoic acid. The 15% Xandrox formula for example didn't include this and people had tremendous success with it - myself included. This is what Dr. Lee had to say about tretinoin/retinoic acid:

Retinoic acid was an important additional ingredient when minoxidil solutions only contained 2% minoxidil (Rogaine). With higher concentration minoxidil solutions, there is no need for retinoic acid, which can have more drawbacks than benefits. Retinoic acid acts as a chemical peel and can cause drying, scaling, redness and irritation of the scalp. Moreover, chronic use of retinoic acid makes the skin more sensitive to sun damage.

Sorry, you are wrong. It also contain corticoid "17-valerate hydrocortisone" .
If you compound it in a REAL pharmacy, like DR LEE did it, you should get the same results.

From where you get that "retinoic acid, which can have more drawbacks than benefits." All the studies show the oppositive you are telling. It is just a question or dose to use.
Plus, more minoxidil will not resolve and do anything to a person that don't respond good to minoxidil, the problem is not in the amount of minoxidil, the problem it is on how much it get activated to minoxidil sulphate.

Kind of sick to post the same great ( this is how an study should be done ) minoxidil plus tretinoin study. But here we go again :

So ComeBackTemples , What you should do ?
Buy the lowest tretinoin cream dose you can find and start from there. Or even better, find a real pharmacy that compound it ( start with minoxidil 5 % plus tretinoin 0.01% ) .
If you use the cream, apply the minoxidil first and then the cream.
