Minoxidil + Medroxyprogesterone topical solution

Hi, i've just discovered this forum. I currently use 1ml dose (twice daily) of 4% minoxidil solution that also contains Medroxyprogesterone. My current supplier is a hair loss clinic, but its very expensive. I've seen Medroxyprogesterone available as a tablet, would this have the same effect as the solution direct to the scalp? What would be the normal dosage as the clinic will not disclose this info? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Bradshaw - I know this is a long time later - but I'm considering the same medicine from a clinic as well. I can't find it anywhere else. Did you like it? How did it work?

I would not replace topical solution with tablets. I am not a doctor, but I think tablets have the effect on the whole body and could cause more side effects.

I know this is a bit late. But I had taken the Medroxyprogesterone pill and it does have side effects. It can cause you to grow hair on your chest and face. Really where you don't want it to grow.
