minoxidil Asymmetrical Growth? Has Anyone Else Experienced This?

Hey guys, since switching from oral minoxidil tablets to drinking topical my body hair has darkened and grew even longer everywhere. When I was just on the tablets it didn't stimulate much beard growth but now drinking topical the whole left side of my facial hair filled in, I can grow one half of a full beard. The other side didn't really respond much so far as that side is still very patchy? Why would this happen? Also no regrowth on scalp hair yet but I'm staying optimistic. Would be interested to hear other members thoughts on this..

well, ever since I started using minoxidil my beard started to grow in thicker in certain areas more than others. for instance i know for a fact that the left side of my beard grows in thicker than the right lol. both sides are def. minoxidil induced

Hopefully thicker face/body hair = regrowth on scalp lol. Same thing happened with the Loxidil pills and I got very promising results.. Fingers crossed!

Drinking topical minoxidil is really damn cheap compared to taking the actual tablets. A three month supply of rogaine would last over two years drinking it at 10mg - 12.mg daily.

So you are taking 0.01 ml per day if i convert it from 10 mg. Am i right?

No I'm taking about 0.25ml lol. 50mg of minoxidil is in 1ml.

When i first began minoxidil topically i was applying 3ml a day and i got heart palpitation.I can't know how much of it goes systemic through my scalp tho.Have you experienced this kind of problem when you drink it ?

Can't say I have. You're only supposed to use 1ml 2x a day on your whole scalp you were using way too much

Yeah i know. I eventually lowered it to 1ml/day. I don't think it has any impact on my body hair but it can surely impact yours since you are taking orally.Maybe drinking liquid minoxidil processing more than tablets in our body.

It has an ingredients list everything is fine for me, had my blood pressure taken and it's all good.

i meant for hair growth.Drinking it could be more effective than taking tablets.Maybe that's why you have experienced more facial hair.
