I dont know what to do anymore tbh. It doesn't look like a low iron telogen effluvim even tho i got low ferritin levels. It looks miniaturized even taking dutasteride and oral minoxidil for more than a year. Do you have any suggest? I also have scalp pain, and I'm using a clobetasol propinoate shampoo for the dermatitis for 1 and a half month.

I'm 22. The fact my hair looks 'healthy' is because i comb my hair down to hide the diffuse thinning. It's horrible how bad it has become in only 6 months.

It is not BDD, because I'm not the only one that have noticed it.. I've been watching my hair closely every month for the last 6 month when the big shedding started. Since then, I've been losing more ground every month and the new hairs are growing thinner. Could be Telogen Effluvium. Check vitamin levels with a derm. But look good man

I don't have any issue with vitamins cause i have an healthy diet and I also take supplements.
The only thing that is in the lower limit is the ferritin with 21ng/ml. I thought the hair loss was caused by that before I realized I have miniaturization..

BDD. it's a tragedy you're on dutasteride and OM. those are medications that come with lists of severe side effects. you're still young — you're going to be on them for life?

I wont be on these medication all my life because there will be more topical treatments in the next 5-10 years, so yeah, I will be on these medication since something better reaches the market.

You went from Norwood 1 to straight female hairline and you're complaining. Go see a therapist lol...
First pic pre-treatment already shows signs of thinning at the hair part and slight thinning, perhaps mild retrograde alopecia, in the area in front of the ears near the temple point. Looks like the treatments have maintained what you had.
It actually recovered lot of density, but i dont have good pics. I've just lost lot of ground in 6 months for some reason.

You are already on strong treatments so I suggest you take much better and more consistent photos (same exact lighting, camera angle, pose etc) to monitor the situation and re-evaluate in 6 months. You should be ok. Good luck.
